As part of a large enterprise, the factory was under a lot of pressure to perform better in various areas of sales, production volume and cost prices. There were many complaints relating to a new product, and the middle management did not know how to establish priorities and accordingly resolve concerns.
With Antonie Reichling’s help, all departments and hierarchical levels cleared up their role and responsibilities, and set-up standards. Performances on standards were made visible, ensuring clarity.
The management sorted out in those facing the challenge, and those that resisted. Part of them were replaced. The factory is now achieving good results.
